Our research group investigates the interactions of immune cells with leukemia and cancer cells. A particular focus is on the analysis of so-called cancer or leukemia stem cells. These are the origin of the disease and the reason for relapses after successful chemotherapy. The aim is to develop improved immunotherapies for patients with cancer.
